Q: How to add more tabs?

A:Click the Plus icon in the right top then you will have a new tab. There is no limit for the tabs. You can move files from one tab to another.

Q: How to close tab?

A:Click the delete icon or long press on the tab bar to Close This Tab or Close Other Tabs.

Q: How to enable ROOT function?

A:If you want to transfer files between SD card and your system folder or edit system files you need to enable ROOT permission first.

To use the root function in File Expert please try:

1.Enable Root Explorer: Menu→Settings→File Explorer Settings→Root Explorer.

2.Edit the folder(the one you want to operate) permission: Long press the folder→Permission.

3. Mount the folder you want to operate.

4.Menu→More→Mount→Mount as read/write.Then you can transfer files between sdcard and other system folders.

A:File Expert is an ultimate app for managing your files and other resources which stored on your Android phone and tablets. A:We’d like to explain the Share Mode in two different ways:

1.Share your neighbor network from your phone Go to File Expert→Network.

2. Share your phone resources to other devices Go to File Expert→Share My Contents.

Q: How to send file via WIFI?

A:1.Firstly, please make sure you have the access to the same WIFI connection.

2.Secondly, Open File Expert in the phone you need to receive file, go to Share My Contents→Start WIFI File Receiver.

3.Thirdly, Open File Expert in the phone you need to send file, long press on the file→Send Files→Send via WIFI.

File expert will search the devices which open WIFI receiver around and then you can choose to transfer files.

Q: How to realize NFC Tapping?

A:1.Firstly please enable NFC in settings.

2.Secondly Start File Expert, long press on the file you need to share→Share Via NFC Tapping.

3.Tapping to another phone to finish file transfer.

Q: Does File Expert Support text edit?

A:You can only create empty txt file and view txt file in File Expert at present. Editing txt files is not available. You can download the recommended third party txt file editor from our server, try this way: Open File Expert→Utilities→Get New APP→find 920 Text Editor and download.

Q: What kind of cloud storage service does File Expert support?

A:At present File Expert supports six cloud storage services. They are Dropbox,Box.Net, Kanbox,KDrive, SinaVDisk, Baidu Cloud Storage. We will add more cloud storage services later.
